Abstract : This paper reviews briefly the histopathologies of common periapical lesions associated with grossly infected primary molars and presents three (3) cases depicting possible sequelac that could affect the succeeding permanent dentition. The need for early diagnosis and proper treatment of grossly carious and/or infected primary molars is stressed.
